Let's hear it for all our running friends who've chosen to r-u-n this holiday weekend.....
ROCK YOUR RACES, ladies!
Sending good vibes to:
Saundra, Atlanta Marathon 11/26
Amanda, Seattle Half 11/29
Kerrie, Seattle Half 11/29
Lisa, Turkey Trot 10K 11/26
and a handful of locals who are running the 20th Annual Seniors First Turkey Trot 5k here in Orlando:
Emma
Kathy
Vicki
Colleen (??)
Hubby is joining me this year for the Turkey Trot, so we'll be walking (mostly), running (a little), and eating later (plenty!!).
I'll also be thinking about my year-in-review as we walk/run with 1000's of other folks Thankgsiving morning, since the Turkey Trot 5K was my first race after visiting Track Shack for the first time and deciding to become a runner one year ago this week. What a difference a year makes! :-)
Hmmm...Is it just me, or is there some resemblance between me (in this photo) and Mr. Turkey at the top of this post?? Ha Ha!! Gobble! Gobble!
NOW - BRING ON THE PUMPKIN PIE....
AND LOTS OF IT!!!!
What? You're wondering just HOW MANY miles you'll have to r-u-n after eating this little baby?? Well, cruise over to Eating Good Stuff and find out... or, on second thought, don't look (today), and just eat more pie!!
Happy Thanksgiving, friends...
Robin

haha, I don't think I want to go to that link to find out how many miles I need to run in order to burn all that food I'm going to be "nomming" on. It's best to leave it in the unknown category of my mind. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Good luck on your race! Happy Thanksgiving.
