I knocked out two miles early this morning, the first ones since the 'neck thing' a little over a week ago.

Felt good to have the running shorts on and running shoes laced up. Sweet!
It was tough to roll out at 5:00 am, but I*made*myself*do*it(!).
Stuck to the treadmill (controlled speeds and soft landing to protect the neck/back). Warmed up with a 1/2 mile walk, did 1-minute speed intervals for a mile, and cooled down with a super-slow pace (fast walk/slow run) for another 1/2 mile. Yay! Baby steps....
