/Holly cow!!!! Awesome job!!! That is great!!! You are going to be SO ready for your half!!! Especially if you have three more 12 milers before hand!!!
Way to go!!!
Robin! 12 miles? OMG, you have come a long way baby! I cannot wait until I can say I did that. You are amazing!!!
12 miles is FANTASTIC! And the more you go on the long runs, the easier they feel. :)
Zoe is right. It will get easier. You will surprise yourself. Way to go!
I just had to go to my calculator to work out how far you ran in metric - Almost 20k!! Well done.
Nice job on the 12 miler! Glad you felt so great! Thanks for the great email. Glad I could help a little.
Congrats!!
Way to go Robin! That is AWESOME! The next few Sundays are going to be easy peasy for you!!! You should come to the country for long runs... miles and miles of uninhabited roads (ie no dogs to chase you!) and it's all marked in perfect mile sections so you know exactly how far you have run. No gps needed here!!! Lots of luck!
Great job on the 12 miler and good luck on your half, I'm doing my first half the weekend after you. So exciting, I'll be cheering for you all the way from Oklahoma!
WOOOOO-HOOOOO!!!
Who cares how long it took you- you DID it!!! I totally know the feeling of finishing a challenge and being all excited at the finish, even if I am alone!
WAY TO GO!
Wow that's awesome! I'm training now for a 1/2 coming up in April (my 2nd 1/2 mara) but as of now my long run is 9 miles. Time to start increasing distance. Your post is inspirational - congratulations!

That is awesome! Hope your next few long runs are good ones :).
CONGRATS! I am running 13 this weekend and I cant wait for it to get here. LOL!
Congrats. I ran 12mi on Sunday too. Me and a team in training friend. It was tough. Took us about the same time too. 2:50:00 -ish. This was only the 4th time I've ever run more than 10mi. And I'm about to run my 2nd half at the end of Feb.
You rock! Congrats on finishing your first 12 miler.
Yay! Great job on your 12-miler! I am so proud of you!
Congrats on the 12. You will do awesome this Sunday!!
Hey guys!
Thanks for all the bloggy love and good wishes! The first 12-miler was awesome and I was actually looking forward to the next one. It turned out well, but I covered only 11 miles; forgot my knee braces, but... ran my first trail! Yay! Felt better than the first 12-miler. Looking forward to this weekend (13 miles)....
