Ahhh - it's getting closer to my 10 miler tomorrow and I'm still topsy turvey about what is best for my stomach to deal with by way of food.
I've got a 15k race tomorrow and i'm a little nervous. Its going to be a challenge as i'm just now working up to the 9-mile range for a "long run" for myself. The weather forecast looks good so at least i won't have to contend with rain.
Hi I just found your blog today I saw you post somthing on Shellys blog and saw your from Orlando like me.
Don't have any races planned this weekend tomorrow is my day off from my keep fit program maybe later this month if the weather warms up and the winds die down.
Have a great weekend!
Hmm, challenge? Running with a sore and stiff ankle. I need to recognize that when it's stiff I shouldn't run because then my gait gets messed up which leads to other issues.
Triumph? I did run 3 miles even though I probably shouldn't have :)
Hope you are feeling better.
This has been a good week for me! I'm up to 94.5 miles for the year and I've got my first outside 6 mile run planned for this weekend. I'm behind where I want to be in miles, but I've been making strides toward making this a LIFE commitment, so I can't complain. I've got my first 5k race next weekend...the Sham Run. I'm excited for it!
Hope everyone's week went well! Let me know if you need support!
Beautiful week both running and weather-wise. I am within 1.45 miles (not that I'm counting) of hitting the 100 mile mark this year so it is a HUGE accomplishment for me.
I'm wondering what all you experts do when you are on a training plan and miss a run here and there. Do you run on a rest day or add extra miles to other runs to make up for it or just forget it? Thanks!
I am out at least three weeks :( probably more like five though. I am sure I will be revamping my goal but I plan to still be close to 600 by the end of the year.
Sweetest girl ever!!!yes you are!!Thanks for being inspiring, wonderful you!!!
Doing alright this wk. Its a rest wk between halfs. I've only ran a total of 10mi this wk. Its so weird that that's considerably smaller # than usual.
