I always use "Madness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."
I like to assess my week or my performance to determine what went right, what went not-so-great, and what I should change. The hardest part is being objective.
I am constantly readjusting as I go. If things aren't feeling right, I try and figure out why and make the changes I can. For this year, I've reorganized my work schedule to allow more time to take care of myself. I'm also adapting my training program as I go and learn to better understand my "athlete" self :)
this is a really good question. I think for me what is different this year is I have more determination to get it done. I WANT THIS... in the past it was never about wanting but about having to get up and move and loose the weight. Today it's more about wanting to accomplish something.
One less day of running for training. Hopefully better days while running. Trying to eat better for recovery. Those are the two I am concentrating on right now.
That quote is so true and I'm attempting to live by that for this year's marathon. I won't progress unless I make changes in my training. It's working.

I need to use this to access my eating. Meh. Time to shake things up!

Increading mileage is the goal.
Love the Friday photo.
I am really staying focused this year and breaking down my big goals into smaller goals to keep me moving forward. :)
Last year I stopped running October-April. This year I joined a gym and I am running on the treadmill at least 3x a week.
