TGIF! Throwing the F Word(s) Around....

have you ever written a post that resulted in  comments that made  you  think more about what you wrote and what you were feeling? .....

to see things differently, more clearly??

that happened this week when I said "If it ain't fun, what's the point?"

even as i wrote that, i thought, "hmmm.... i'm not sure that's what i really mean, but i'm not sure how else to say what i'm feeling right now."

then you left wonderful comments, sharing your own experiences about figuring out how you make it all work, which got me to thinking even more....

and i realized what i really felt and wanted to say:

i've gotten fanatical about blogging...
even a little obsessive??
blogging is fun for me!

to the point that i often put it before other things.
and people.

not good.

backing off a little is to
 find balance.
spend time with my fantastic husband and family.
find time for my other projects (and plenty of running!) .......

I can relate...sometimes I wonder why I'm not more productive. Hmmm, something to do with bloggy land? Enjoy your new nephew.

Have a great relaxing weekend meeting your new nephew. Take in the baby smell . . . Oh how I love the smell of a newborn. ;-)

I try to live by this one word ------ balance. It applies, in some way, to everything - work - cleaning the house - blogging - running - college/high school students drinking (before they are 21) - eating cookies - enjoying a drink . . . living and enjoying life is all about balance.

A blogger I like to read once said "I have to make time to live my life, or I wouldn't have anything to blog about" :) Enjoy the baby!

Hooray for newborns, have fun meeting him.

My lack of productivity around blogging is more about how many I read, than how much I write :P

I am running my second 10k race this weekend :) I'm liking the 10k the 5k just feels short now.

Blogging can overwhelm me at times, but I do love it!! I love reading up on everyone's journey.... but writing my own sometimes seems to suffocate me. I'm too much of a perfectionist to relax and have Fun....gonna think more in the F terms now, too :). happy weekend, Robin!! xo from Denver!
