Hi Everybody,
Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday... and for our international friends, Happy Thursday! :)
Just a quick update for this week: the Turtle Runner has been sidetracked with family and health issues for a few days and has been a little a lot (!) off schedule.
My sincerest apologies to Ms. Alison, who's our featured Wednesday Winner this week. Her interview will publish tonight (June 16, 2010) @ 9:00 p.m. EST. Hope you'll check it out... she has an amazing weight loss story and fabulous foodie stuff on her website. I think you'll want to visit her blog, especially if you're looking for yummy, healthy recipes (and who isn't??)...
I've been trying to keep up with reading e-mails/Facebook posts/tweets... it's been sketchy at best. *sigh*..... (but I should be back on schedule in the next few days)
Lauren (my 2nd virtual daughter), yes, of course, a later interview is fine... we'll figure out a date that works for you.
Laura, Yay!! I've been thinking a lot about you and your upcoming Half, hoping your new armpocket would arrive in time. Thanks for letting me know. I am soooo excited that you'll get to break it in before race day (with a short run, maybe?), and then have it for the Big Event. Fantastic news! (Laura recently completed her longest distance to date, her dress rehearsal for her first-ever HM.)
I know there are tons of other messages to reply to... I promise to do that soon, soon, soon!
Big HUGS to everyone who's sent such ncie messages via FB... you guys are so awesome! The love and support of our community continues to inspire and humble me.
Group training (second week in 'school') is just terrific, terrific, terrific... to say I'm totally hooked on this 'group running thing' is an understatement! To say Galloway is an outstanding way to train safely is an even bigger statement(!) As I continue to read about blogging buddies being on the injured/reserved list, I can't help but think, "You should try Galloway...." Just makes good sense.
Will share more details soon.... Remember those groups in school, the cliques? ........ Story to follow.....
Take care, friends... back soon ~
