In the U.S., we are celebrating our nation's independence this weekend, keeping our military folks in mind as we run and walk race events, host or attend BBQs, and watch fireworks.
Here in Orlando, we'll be dodging frequent downpours, but that's okay... while the skies are gray and overcast, everything else is beautifully green.
Will you be running in a 4th of July event this weekend? The Turtle Runner will be joining her family for the Watermelon 5K early Sunday morning, her sister's first-ever 5K race. Should be fun! :)

The Watermelon 5K looks sooo much fun, wish I were there. Well, actuall I don't tolerate heat/humidity well so I wish you were HERE, and bring the Watermelon 5K with you!!
