TGIF - Be Creative, 4th of July Style!

Happy Friday, friends!

Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend!

In the U.S., we are celebrating our nation's independence this weekend, keeping our military folks in mind as we run and walk race events, host or attend BBQs, and watch fireworks.

Here in Orlando, we'll be dodging frequent downpours, but that's okay... while the skies are gray and overcast, everything else is beautifully green.

Will you be running in a 4th of July event this weekend?  The Turtle Runner will be joining her family for the Watermelon 5K early Sunday morning, her sister's first-ever 5K race.   Should be fun!  :)

In honor of the 4th of July, here's my request today (looking for your creativity!)

Please share 4 words
that describe you these days.

Here are mine to kick it off ... (no big surprise after yesterday's post!):

  • quiet

  • reflective

  • exploring

  • inspired!!

Happy running, friends .....

I was going to run a 5k but I cannot justify $25 for a race when I still can't really push it, you know! Plus, I have a race every single weekend in July!!!
