Just found your blog and am so happy I did! I AM a turtle :) Your post really resonated with me -- taking my youngest off to college this weekend, then I start back to work in my classroom in a little less than 2 weeks... summer's definitely winding down!
Ooh...can't wait to hear more! Glad you are so excited and happy about it - doing something that YOU want to is so important.
Back to school for our kiddos too. Kind of bittersweet this year, as our youngest is starting kindergarten this year. So this will be our first year having all of our kids old enough to go to school. They are just growing up way too fast, and this week is yet another reminder of that!
I can't believe it's the end of summer. What ever started to school beginning in September?
Bummer. Thank goodness I don't get a long vacation. I don't know how you teachers ever want to go back. Great school year wishes to all those important folks out there.
Look forward to hearing your news, I teach workshops in schools, so have at least two weeks before I go back. Oh how I have enjoyed my summer break!

To be honest I'm happy Summer is coming to an end. After tomorrow it's getting cooler here and I think that will mean the definite end of Summer. I've never been a Summer girl so bring on Autumn, I'm ready :)

Yes, summer here is closing in! Teachers come back Tuesday and kids the following Wednesday! Luckily, I still have vacation time :)
