Happy Friday!
Here in the U.S., we're celebrating Labor Day this weekend,
traditionally the official 'end of summer.'
But do you know the history of this holiday?
I didn't either, and was a little curious,
especially given the employment predicament
we continue to be in - here and increasingly, abroad.
So here it is, in case you're interested.
Designated as a day to honor us for contributing
our efforts to the collective
"strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country,"
we are supposed to relax and play.....
Well, since you put it THAT way...
(History lesson is over...
Here comes the really FUN part!)

Then, Hubs and I will do lots of relaxing!
Gotta run...
time to 'toil' for the day and then off to play!

That sounds like such a fun weekend! Good luck on the run - are you doing the 5K or 10K? What a wonderful way to "end" summer (does summer really end in Florida?)
